GIZMO Litter Box wins iF Design Award 2025!

We are incredibly humbled and excited to announce that the GIZMO Litter Box has won the prestigious iF Design Award 2025 in the Product – Pet Supplies category!

It's a big moment for us, and we couldn't be prouder to see our design recognized alongside nearly 11,000 other entries from 66 countries. Being selected for this award truly highlights the hard work and dedication that has gone into designing a product that we believe will change the way cat owners look at litter boxes.

The Journey Behind the GIZMO Litter Box

The story of the GIZMO Litter Box began a few years ago when founder Gijs Raaijmakers was frustrated with the lack of functional and aesthetically pleasing litter boxes on the market. "As a cat owner, I knew there had to be a better solution. I had already tried a variety of products, from unattractive plastic bins to some better looking litter boxes, but none of them seemed to address the core needs of both cats and their owners."

"I wanted to create something that combined style with functionality—a litter box that fits seamlessly into modern living spaces, offers a great user experience, and provides all the necessary features to make cleaning easy and efficient."

With a deep dive into design research, customer feedback, and his own experiences with his cats Luna and Nox, he set out to develop a product that would not only look good but also solve the common issues that litter boxes face: odor control, leaks, and convenience.

After numerous prototypes, testing, and adjustments, the GIZMO Litter Box was born.

Easy Maintenance: We designed the GIZMO with ease of use in mind. The built-in scoop features a hidden compartment for waste bags, so you always have everything you need within reach. The removable lid and ergonomic side handles also make cleaning quick and hassle-free.

Eco-Friendly: In line with our commitment to sustainability, the GIZMO Litter Box works best with wood pellets, a renewable and eco-friendly material. Pine wood pellets are not only highly absorbent but also neutralize ammonia odors, creating a cleaner and fresher environment for your cat.
